The summer holidays are in full swing and getting away can be tough when you have a dog and want to take them with you! Leaving them in a kennel might not be possible or you may just want to keep the family unit together.

We’ve found some dog-friendly places in Yorkshire that are perfect for getaways for the whole family!

Dower House & Spa

Knaresborough

After a day exploring all that Yorkshire has to offer, Dower House & Spa offers guests a place to relax and unwind with a cup of tea or a cocktail! Close to the spa town of Harrogate, and the Yorkshire Dales close by, theirs is plenty to do nearby to keep you and your dog busy all day!

In the centre of quirky Hebden Bridge, the White Lion Hotel is a wonderful place to stay for exploring Hebden Bridge itself and West Yorkshire! The local area has many restaurants and pubs for eating out and you’ll find many shops of different kinds! Hebden Bridge has a wonderful market with many hand-crafted gift stalls.
