Anna Muir shares her origin story and explains the mission behind PawDaw of London

Pawdaw of London is an independent family run business, based in London.

Phoebe, a very adorable, beautiful, and sometimes cheeky cockapoo joined our family. Our lives were turned upside down and have not been the same since. She has

brought so much love and is very much part of the family. We embarked upon the world of doggy accessories and products. We quickly realised it was a struggle to find the quality, style, and practicality we were looking for within the affordable luxury pet space. Items were either overly expensive or not practical. We decided that we would create our own products, which whilst stylish and luxurious, would be practical and problem-solving.

One accessory we really struggled to find, was good quality, absorbent, dog. Through the wet days, we found we were going through so much laundry, the towels were quite small, and the material did not absorb the wet from her coat or remove the mud from her paws. We had dirty floors and furniture, and Phoebe was needing lots of bath-time, which she really hates!

We decided to design and create our own super absorbent dog towel with a luxurious look and feel. Made from premium microfibre, it is great for getting between hairy paws and dries and removes mud and wet quickly. It washes lovely and dries quick. Itislargerthanotherdogtowels, at the size of a large bath sheet (150cm x 100cm), great for wrapping around your dog, regardless of breed or size.

As much as the towels are amazing, keeping car seats clean and protected was still a challenge after wet, muddy walks. We next launched a luxurious dog drying bag, which can be used to pop your dog into after a bath, or muddy walk. Just lie the bag flat on the floor, walk your dog onto the bag, attach the Velcro collar around their neck and zip the bag around. There is plenty of room for them to be able to lie down in.

The fabric is extra thick and super absorbent, meaning when you take them out, the drying bag will have removed the mud and dried them, just a quick brush needed. There is also a hole for a seatbelt attachment to clip through to their harness, so that you can keep them safe whilst also protecting your seats.

Pawdaw of London are very environmentally friendly, with eco-friendly packaging, we try to be as sustainable as possible.

Most grooming products for dogs, whilst they smell lovely and create a great lather, they contain nasties. The natural products available whilst no nasties, are not great for building a lather, making it difficult to wash Phoebe’s cockerpoo coat. So, we launched our own line of natural grooming products.

All our grooming products are made with natural oils and butters, ensuring they are moisturising, helping to retain your dog’s natural oils they were born with. All ingredients are gentle, focusing on keeping your dog’s skins soft and nourished, helping to avoid dryness and sores.

Vegan and eco-friendly, no nasties or cruelty to animals, Paraben and SLS free. The great thing is that the shampoos and shampoo bar lather well. The shampoo bottles have handy flip disc tops, making them easy to use with one hand whilst holding onto your dog with the other, important if they do not like baths and try to jump out like our Phoebe!

Our latest product launch, Natural Salmon Cookies, are going down a storm, dogs cannot get enough of them. Phoebe is quite fussy where chews are concerned, she is not that interested; however, she goes wild for the cookies. Not only are they crunchy and tasty, but also guilt-free, hypoallergenic with fantastic levels of Omega 3 & 6, win-win!

We have put everything together to create Luxury Pamper Gift Boxes, perfect for spoiling your four-legged friend.

Pawdaw of London launched end of December 2020. The response from our customers has been overwhelming, with near on 200 5-star reviews, with many repeat customers and referrals. Everyone loves the Pawdaw of London products as much as we do!

“We offer a 30-day money-back ‘Love It’ guarantee, if you purchase any of our products and you do not love them after using, you can return to us within 30 days for a full refund, no questions asked.”

We take great care with every order, each is beautifully gift-wrapped in Pawdaw of London eco-friendly packaging, a treat to receive, but also kind to the planet.

We have many exciting ideas in the pipeline, we want to continue to fill the gap in the market for affordable, stylish, luxury dog products that also solve problems, whilst providing amazing customer service.

We want to spread the Pawdaw of London love as much as possible, so we were delighted to find K9 Nation, this is a great app that provides useful information and advice for dog owners, plus a one-stop-shop to find services and products.

We’ve even created a special discount code for the K9 Nation community: Enter ‘K9NATION’ at checkout to receive a 10% discount.
