Engagement is at the heart of advertising. We want our dog owners interacting with our dog-friendly businesses and, to help with that, we’ve put together a checklist of 5 ways to improve your engagement.
Complete your contact info
The more options you have for customers to interact with your business, the better. Engaging with everyone often means catering to the different ways in which customers want to engage. Make sure to add your website URL and email address for digital customers, a physical address and phone number for anyone looking to get in touch offline, and social media links for customers who prefer Twitter DMs to an email.
Check your information
Make sure that your business is listed with all of the product and service types you offer so that customers looking for businesses like yours will find you. If you have a business location, make sure that you’ve got the right information in the app so that customers know where to find you, you show up correctly on searches and the K9 Pack can include your business when talking about nearby walks/attractions.
Your logo is likely the first thing that a customer will see when they find you in the K9 Marketplace so use your most recognisable logo. You can add other imagery to your listing with a paid subscription. If you’ve got a physical location, add a picture of your business so customers can find you easier. Whether you offer products or services, the gallery is the perfect place to feature what it is your dog-friendly business provides.
Host an event
Events of all kinds get customers engaged with your business and can be a great way to show off new products or services. Why not run an online course with your specialist knowledge? Or, organise a free event and engage the community, like our K9 Clean Up campaign. You can create events from the business console and have them feature in the events tab in the K9 Marketplace.
Add a discount
Discounts can be an effective way of getting more customers and targeting that discount at a market more likely to engage is even better. As part of your K9 Marketplace listing, you can use the description to offer a discount to users of the K9 App, dog owners that are more likely to utilise your offer.
