We have searched for the best dog-friendly pancake recipes around and discovered a foolproof method that you can make for your pooch and make sure they don’t get left out this year.
Ingredients
50g Plain Flour
100ml Water
1 Egg
Directions
Add all the ingredients to the bowl and whisk to a smooth batter. Adding the wet ingredients little by little to the flour will help to achieve a smooth batter.
Heat a frying pan to a medium temperature. You can use a small amount of oil which will help keep your dog’s coat shiny and healthy.
Cook for 30 seconds on each side.
Add toppings of your choice and serve!
Topping Suggestions
Many fruits are good for dogs, you could try blueberries, bananas or apples.
If your dog is more into their vegetables why not try adding chopped up carrots or cucumbers,
Peanut butter - make sure to buy peanut butter that doesn’t contain Xylitol, as it is extremely toxic to dogs.
Unflavoured yoghurt.
If you’re feeling fancy, pop a can of coconut milk in the fridge, a few hours in advance, then use your whipped cream maker for the ultimate dairy-free sugar- free topper — coconut whipped cream.
Xylitol is toxic to dogs, make sure to read the label and only use ingredients safe for your dog.
